METRO has hired 3 of the largest law firms in Texas to battle the RICHMOND AVENUE COALITION/MOBILITY COALITION FOR QUALITY OF LIFE for our city's streets and our property.

Our attorney, ANDY TAYLOR, has just completed the first 4 depositions of METRO officials in preparation for our lawsuit against METRO. METRO has been forced to disclose over 110,000 documents in discovery and we have read them all! This war is about the land and development, not transportation.

METRO will be taking all the trees, creating congestion and removing lanes of traffic and most importantly, taking our property, homes and businesses. This is the first time METRO officials have been forced to answer questions under oath. The depositions have gone very well because ANDY TAYLOR has done a great job. We anticipate going to court in the near future and forcing METRO to adhere to the 2003 referendum as the voters approved it.

THE LAWSUIT HAS BEEN EFFECTIVE IN POSTPONING METRO'S PLANS AND CAUSED THEM TO MAKE MANY CHANGES - IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THEM with the aid of our CONGRESSMAN JOHN CULBERSON!

The RICHMOND COALITION/MOBILITY COALITION WILL HOLD A COMMUNITY MEETING FOR THE REAL STAKEHOLDERS ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2007, 6:30 - 8 PM AT ST. STEPHEN'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 1805 W. ALABAMA AT WOODHEAD, PECORE HALL (IN THE BACK).

Please let me know if you have any questions, bumper stickers and new signs will be available at the meeting.

Thanks so much for all your interest and help! The METRO WAR is not over and we will continue the battle with your help!

Thanks, hope to see you, Daphne Scarbrough
