What's Going On Here?

Let's Build A Rail That Makes Sense

Through the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), we were able to acquire several interesting memos, two of which involve George Smalley, Metro's chief spokesman. Read for yourself where Metro's loyalties appear to lie.

A Metro memo. Why is Metro paying the Gulf Coast Institute $40,000?   A second Metro memo. Construction from 2008 to 2012? Is Metro serious?   This was an E-mail Karen Marshall sent to another Metro spokesperson. Why couldn't Metro find any businesses to support their point of view? Simple. THERE WEREN'T ANY.

Metro claims they can accomplish their light rail lines without any loss of lanes. Below are two drawings they presented to the public. You be the judge. Where are they going to get the space of which they speak?

Greenway Plaza   Richmond at Montrose

Can Metro really accomplish all this without repeating "A Nightmare On Main Street"?
